Sometimes life can be challenging, painful, and overwhelming. Sometimes there are real issues that need tending to. Sometimes you just need a little check-in before something becomes an issue. Therapy is all of those things and more. We will help you identify your current concerns, find your strengths, and work with you to be the very best version of yourself.
-
Although we would love nothing more than to wave a magic wand and take all your burdens away, therapy takes time, dedication, and work. Sometimes therapy can be short-term as we support you through a difficult phase or focus on specific skills training, and in other situations, it just takes more time. We will develop a plan that you are comfortable with and continue to check-in on progress towards your goals.

At Blossom, we strive to make a genuine human connection with you and make you feel comfortable and safe. We never want you to feel judged or like you’re being analyzed by a clinical robot. Although the feel will be casual, our competent and compassionate therapists have years of clinical training, experience, and expertise that will help you reach your goals.
-
During the initial appointment, we will gather some background information and speak in-depth about how you’re currently doing. We will come up with therapy goals together and decide how often we will meet. Aside from the clinical aspect, it is also a great opportunity to increase comfort and trust. The most important thing for you to do during your initial appointment is making sure the relationship is a good fit. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions that will make you feel secure and confident in knowing that you are on the same page as your therapist.

Dr. Jessica currently accepts BCBS, BCN, Aetna, Priority Health, and United Healthcare. Ashley accepts BCBS, BCN, and is in the process of getting on more insurance panels. Both clinicians also accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) as payment, and private-pay clients. For private-pay or if they do not currently accept your insurance, check with your insurance provider regarding out-of-network benefits; you may be eligible for reimbursement by submitting a Superbill.

When your services are covered by insurance, we have to provide certain private information in order to demonstrate “medical necessity.” When you pay privately, all of your information is kept private and there is no requirement of a diagnosis that will be permanently attached to your medical record. If you choose to pay privately, we can provide you with a Superbill, and you may be able to get reimbursed by your health insurance provider for out-of-network services.
